2008 Atlanta Track Classic Results: Master's Results | Men's 3000M | Women's 3000M


Sanctions:

A USATF sanctioned event. USATF membership available at www.usatf.org. USATF registration is not required for each competitor.

 

Site:

Emory University, Woodruff Physical Education Center, Atlanta, Georgia

8-lane, 400 meter rekortan track (1/4" spikes max)

 

Age Divisions:

Masters (age 30 & over) men & women will compete in 5-year age groups through 95+.

Open (20-29) men & women will compete in one 10-year age division.

Junior (19 & under) men & women are only allowed to compete in the 3000 meter run.

 

Entry Fees:

$13 first event; $2 each additional event.

ATC Grand Prix 3000m - $6 entry fee. The is an ATC Grand Prix event.

MUST PRE-REGISTER

Relays free to all registered athletes.

 

Deadline:

All entries must be received by Monday, June 2, 2008

Due to the complexities of coordinating the meet, NO LATE ENTRIES can be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

Awards:

Medals to first three places in age groups.

 

Packet Pickup:

Emory University, track & field entrance, beginning at 6:30 a.m.

 

Directions:

To Emory University: From I-85 take exit 91, Clairmont Rd, Turn south. Travel 3.7 miles, turn right onto N. Decatur Rd. Turn right onto Oxford Rd. The physical education center is located on Asbury Circle; parking is available in the Peavine Deck on Fraternity Row behind the PE Center; parking fees may apply.


AGE GROUP SEQUENCE:  Open & Masters Women, Older Men Masters, Younger Men Masters, Open Men.

Age groups and heats may be combined if insufficient entrants.

Field Event Implement Certification

All throwing implements must be certified one hour before competition. Check at registration table for instructions. Height and distance between hurdles and weight of throwing equipment will be in accordance with WAVA/USATF hurdle and implement specifications.
