MEMBERSHIP STANDARDS & REQUIREMENTS

The following requirements must be met to be eligible to join or continue on the Team:

1) Be an ATC member in good standing for at least 30 days

2) Be 40 years of age or older, with proof if requested

3) Compete in two ATC sponsored races annually (Resolution Run, Decatur-DeKalb 4 Miler, Peachtree etc.)

4) Compete in one or more Team events annually. Regarding Team races, the Team member must:

A) Wear official Team uniform/colors

B) Commit to the Team race captain no less than 30 days in advance, hopefully longer

C) Find a replacement if unable to participate in a committed race

D) Accept current ATC Board financial limits of $300 max/person/event and $599 max/person/year

5) Be able to certify completion of a race on a certified course during the prior 12 months which meets or exceeds ONE of the following general time standards:

75-79*      26:00     55:00     2:02:30    4:13:30

*Membership is based on meeting the time standards or by invitation from the ATC Men's Masters Team.

Team members performance and contributions will be reviewed by the Executive Committee annually. Members are STRONGLY URGED to support the Atlanta Track Club by:

1) Staying for post-race award ceremonies wearing Team colors to promote the Club

2) Volunteering at the Team-directed and other ATC races and events

Any Team member declared ineligible will not be allowed to compete as a member in a Team event or wear Team uniforms until he requalifies.
