Team Coordinator Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities of the ATC Men’s Masters Team Coordinator include but are not limited to:

    1.  Attend ATC Board Meetings and special events.  Represent the Team as ATC board member. This involves a 1-2 hour
         monthly meeting and presenting a report of team activities to the board.
    2.  Obtain budget from ATC and manage it for the year and each Team race so that the Team does not greatly over- or
         under-spend.  Maintain a total dollar amount reimbursed to Team member to assure that no Team member exceeds the
         IRS limit of $600.
    3.  Maintain the Team member’s Letters of Agreement, Stat Sheets, and Team roster.
    4.  Review and determine team eligibility.
    5.  Select Team races based on team competition, team visibility and team budget.
    6.  Designate a Team member or act as the Team captains for each team event.
    7.  Ensure Team race captains are meeting deadlines and providing team members the necessary information.
    8.  Reimburse Team members in a timely fashion.
    9.  Promote the ATC through Team events and volunteering.  Communicate volunteering needs for ATC races.  The Team
         coordinator is the race director each year for the ATC December Cross Country race, and the Men’s Masters Team
         provides the majority of volunteers for this race.  In addition, each team member should volunteer at 2 events per year.
    10. Communicate with the Team members on Team events, Team/other race opportunities, updates, ATC news, etc.
    11. Submit a 500-word Team report by the 15th of each month for WINGFOOT publication.
    12. Designate a Team member or act as coordinator for Team clothing procurement and distribution.
    13. Hold and facilitate at least one Team meeting a year.
    14. Work with web site coordinator to ensure accuracy.
    15. Respond timely to the request/needs of the ATC.
