When does registration for the
Online registration for Peachtree will open on March 21, and the majority of Peachtree entries will be accepted through online registration. However, those unable to secure one of the first 45,000 online entries or who prefer mailing in their registration can fill out the paper application that will run in the March 28 AJC. The event’s remaining 10,000 slots will be selected at random from all paper applications received by mail and postmarked by April 5, 2010.
How much will it cost to sign up for the AJC Peachtree Road Race?
The entry fee for the 2010 event is $33 per runner.
New this year, number pickup will take place at the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo on Friday, July 2 and Saturday, July 3. During registration, participants wishing to have their race numbers mailed to them can do so for a $5 fee to cover the costs of postage and handling.
Will I have to submit separate online registration forms if I’m trying to register my entire family?
Yes, a separate online registration form will need to be filled out for each individual who would like to participate in the event.
All entries are on an individual basis. If you’d like to run as part of a group, you may do so on an informal basis. You need to run in the slowest start wave assigned to any of your members: for example, if the members of your group received numbers in the "A", "C" and "E" start waves, the slowest wave is "E" and you may all run together in that group.
I live out of state; can I still register for the AJC Peachtree Road Race?
Yes. Anyone can register online. Online registration for the Peachtree will open at 1:00 p.m. EDT on Sunday, March 21. The first 45,000 out of 55,000 entries into the race will be filled through online registration.
Can I register both online and through the newspaper?
No. If you successfully registered online, your paper application will not be in consideration for one of the 10,000 slots that will be randomly filled from all the paper applications that are received by mail and postmarked by April 5, 2010.
I am an Atlanta Track Club member and wasn’t able to register by the March 19 early registration deadline. Can I still register ahead of the general public?
No, early Peachtree registration for Atlanta Track Club members and race sponsors ends on March 19, no exceptions. If you were unable to register for the AJC Peachtree Road Race during the early registration time period, you will have to register with the general public beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 21.
