Monday


Midtown, Atlanta Track Club Group Runs Begin Monday, June 1. If you're looking to meet new people and change up your running or walking routine, come join members of the Atlanta Track Club for an informal run / walk around Midtown.  Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome, and you don't need to be an ATC member to participate.  The group will meet at the Charles Allen Gate at Piedmont Park every Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. beginning on June 1.  You can choose your distance from 2-5 miles.  For questions regarding the Atlanta Track Club group run / walk contact bdostal@atlantatrackclub.org.

Tuesday

Atlanta, Atlanta Singles Running Organization (ASRO), 6:30 pm during daylight savings, runners meet at the Powers Ferry Road entrance to the Cochran Shoals Unit, Chattahoochee River recreation area. Runs are 3-8 miles. Contact: Contact: www.atlanta-singles-running.org

Brookhaven area, 6:00 pm. Runners meet at the Big Peach Running Co. at the Cherokee Plaza Shopping Center on Peachtree Road near the Brookhaven Marta train station. Runs are of various paces and distances through the Brookhaven neighborhood. Newcomers welcome. Contact: (404) 816-8488

Decatur Fleet Fleet Sports Decatur running and walking club meets 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, at 431 W Ponce de Leon Ave (across from The Grange pub).  Routes of 3 and 5 miles for both walking and running groups of all levels.  Contact Clay or Kim Scarborough (404)-371-0208.

Douglasville, Douglas County Rogue Runners (DCRR), evening runs on roads.  Distances are from 4 to 6 miles, and up to 20 miles for the advanced runners. Grant Park: Track workouts at Phoenix Park, located on Georgia Ave. between Ami and Connally St. SE, just east of Turner Field. Intervals start at 7 p.m. For all levels intent on improving speed.
