Matt, Wilkerson, Bridget and Lacey made their Boston Marathon debuts at this year's edition of the race. Battling somewhat difficult conditions and a stacked field, Bridget placed 14th in 2:34:25, while Matt placed 21st in 2:16:58. Wilkerson and Lacey struggled more on the day, battling to 2:26:53 and 2:48:26 finishes, respectively.

The squad traveled to Florida for the Gate River 15K, which served as the USATF 15K Championships. Bridget Belyeu finished fifth with a strong run of 51:40, and Eden Meyer finished in 16th in 53:55. On the men's side, Matt McDonald finished 10th in 45:23. View full results here.

At the test event for the 2020 Olympic Team Trials - Marathon, Atlanta Track Club's Elite team largely used the race as an opportunity to test the course at marathon pace. Bridget Belyeu had the strongest performance on the day, finishing fourth. See a full recap of the Olympic Hopeful Division here.
Yolanda Ngarambe competed in the 1500m and the 3000m. In the 1500m, Yolanda finished 10th in her heat, failing to make the finals. In the 3000m, she finished 14th in 9:17. 53. Both events were won by Great Britain's Laura Muir.

Yolanda Ngarambe continued her scorching indoor season by taking home Atlanta Track Club Elite's first-ever national championship! In the 1500m at the Swedish Indoor Track & Field Championships, she ran a 4:21.39 to take the victory by more than four seconds, marking her first gold medal and qualifying her for the European Indoor Championships on March 1-3.

A strong season continued across the board for Atlanta Track Club Elite at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston. Yolanda Ngarambe continue her torch-hot start to the season with yet another personal best of 8:53.97 in the 3000m, outkicking Bowerman Track Club's Vanessa Fraser on her way to the win. On the men's side, Abe Alvarado set an overall (not just indoor!) PR with a 1:46.53 to take second place, while Brandon Lasater also set an outright PR of 3:59.11 in the mile. Dylan Capwell finished 4th in the 800m in 1:48.41.

Atlanta Track Club Elite’s Yolanda Ngarambe set the Swedish National Record in the indoor mile at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston Saturday. Ngarambe’s time of 4:28.30 bested the previous record of 4:30.42 set in 2016. It shaves more than three seconds off Ngarambe’s personal best of 4:31.59. Her 1500 meter split of 4:10.13 is also a personal best and places her sixth on the Swedish all-time list. It was a weekend of wins and personal bests for Atlanta Track Club Elite. At the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University, six Atlanta Track Club athletes qualified for the USATF Indoor National Championships with five setting personal best times. On the women’s side Friday, Megan Malasarte placed second in the 1000m in 2:43.28. Ellie Abrahamson (9:14.17) and Eden Meyer (9:20.30) were second and third in the 3000m. In the men’s 1000m on Saturday, Abe Alvarado won in 2:19.36. Patrick Peterson was second in 2:21.08. Dylan Capwell won the 800m in a time of 1:48.19.

Atlanta Track Club's Elite Team had its first collective breakout meet of the year at the Clemson Invitiational, starting with a massive *six* second PR from Yolanda Ngarambe, who ran a 4:31.59 in the mile. This will qualify the Swede for European Championships and is her second PR in two weeks at Clemson. Additionally, Abe Alvarado ran a world leading 1:48.70. Keturah Orji made her Atlanta Track Club debut in this meet, which was where she set the American indoor Triple Jump record one year ago. This year, she jumped 14.39m to take the win again.
