Stockholm Diamond League

May 30, 2019

In the first race for the Club at the Stockholm meeting of the Diamond League, Yolanda Ngarambe put together an outstanding race to finish third in the women's 1500m. Running a PR of more than two seconds, Ngarambe finished in 4:10.05 with a phenomenal final 200m to surge onto the podium.

Eastern Track League

May - July 2019

Atlanta Track Club Elites will compete throughout the spring and early summer in the Eastern Track League, a collaborative effort between the District Track Club, Furman Elite, Hoka NJ NY Track Club, Nashville Track Club, and Atlanta Track Club. Races will kick off on Monday, May 13 at Swarthmore College, and continue through to a Series Final on July 13 in Washington, D.C. Payton Jordan Invitiational

May 2, 2019

Yolanda Ngarambe and Abraham Alvarado raced to kick off the outdoor track & field season in California. Coming off standout indoor campaigns, Ngarambe finished 17th in the 5000m in 15:38.79 and Alvarado finished eighth in the 1500m in 3:44.76.

USATF Road Mile Championships

Brandon Lasater had a strong open to the outdoor season with a thrilling second place finish at the USATF Road Mile Championships in Des Moines, Iowa. Finishing in 4:04.0, Lasater was edged out by just one tenth of a second at the line. Catch a video of his post-race interview here.

Boston Marathon

April 15, 2019

Matt, Wilkerson, Bridget and Lacey made their Boston Marathon debuts at this year's edition of the race. Battling somewhat difficult conditions and a stacked field, Bridget placed 14th in 2:34:25, while Matt placed 21st in 2:16:58. Wilkerson and Lacey struggled more on the day, battling to 2:26:53 and 2:48:26 finishes, respectively.

Gate River 15K

March 9, 2019

The squad traveled to Florida for the Gate River 15K, which served as the USATF 15K Championships. Bridget Belyeu finished fifth with a strong run of 51:40, and Eden Meyer finished in 16th in 53:55. On the men's side, Matt McDonald finished 10th in 45:23. View full results here.

Road to Gold

At the test event for the 2020 Olympic Team Trials - Marathon, Atlanta Track Club's Elite team largely used the race as an opportunity to test the course at marathon pace. Bridget Belyeu had the strongest performance on the day, finishing fourth. See a full recap of the Olympic Hopeful Division here

European Indoor Track & Field Championships

March 1-3

Yolanda Ngarambe competed in the 1500m and the 3000m. In the 1500m, Yolanda finished 10th in her heat, failing to make the finals. In the 3000m, she finished 14th in 9:17. 53. Both events were won by Great Britain's Laura Muir. 

Toyota USATF Indoor Championships

February 22-24, 2019

Fantastic weekend on the national stage for Atlanta Track Club's Elite team! Keturah Orji took home the Club's first-ever national title in the Triple Jump, while Abe Alvarado finished on the podium in the men's 1000m. Read the full recap here. See full meet results here.

Swedish Indoor National Championships

February 17, 2019

Yolanda Ngarambe continued her scorching indoor season by taking home Atlanta Track Club Elite's first-ever national championship! In the 1500m at the Swedish Indoor Track & Field Championships, she ran a 4:21.39 to take the victory by more than four seconds, marking her first gold medal and qualifying her for the European Indoor Championships on March 1-3. 

David Hemery Valentine Invitational

February 8 + 9, 2019

A strong season continued across the board for Atlanta Track Club Elite at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston. Yolanda Ngarambe continue her torch-hot start to the season with yet another personal best of 8:53.97 in the 3000m, outkicking Bowerman Track Club's Vanessa Fraser on her way to the win. On the men's side, Abe Alvarado set an overall (not just indoor!) PR with a 1:46.53 to take second place, while Brandon Lasater also set an outright PR of 3:59.11 in the mile. Dylan Capwell finished 4th in the 800m in 1:48.41.

New Balance Indoor Grand Prix

Atlanta Track Club Elite’s Yolanda Ngarambe set the Swedish National Record in the indoor mile at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston Saturday. Ngarambe’s time of 4:28.30 bested the previous record of 4:30.42 set in 2016. It shaves more than three seconds off Ngarambe’s personal best of 4:31.59. Her 1500 meter split of 4:10.13 is also a personal best and places her sixth on the Swedish all-time list. John Thomas Terrier Classic

January 27 + 28, 2019

It was a weekend of wins and personal bests for Atlanta Track Club Elite. At the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University, six Atlanta Track Club athletes qualified for the USATF Indoor National Championships with five setting personal best times. On the women’s side Friday, Megan Malasarte placed second in the 1000m in 2:43.28. Ellie Abrahamson (9:14.17) and Eden Meyer (9:20.30) were second and third in the 3000m. In the men’s 1000m on Saturday, Abe Alvarado won in 2:19.36. Patrick Peterson was second in 2:21.08. Dylan Capwell won the 800m in a time of 1:48.19.

Clemson Invitational

January 18-19, 2019

Atlanta Track Club's Elite Team had its first collective breakout meet of the year at the Clemson Invitiational, starting with a massive *six* second PR from Yolanda Ngarambe, who ran a 4:31.59 in the mile. This will qualify the Swede for European Championships and is her second PR in two weeks at Clemson. Additionally, Abe Alvarado ran a world leading 1:48.70. Keturah Orji made her Atlanta Track Club debut in this meet, which was where she set the American indoor Triple Jump record one year ago. This year, she jumped 14.39m to take the win again. 2018 NACAC Championships

August 10 - 12, 2018

testBrandon Lasater was selected as part of the U.S. team for the 2018 NACAC Championships in Toronto, Canada. He finished sixth in 1:50.91

Morton Games

July 19, 2018

Later in the week, Lasater competed in the Morton Games and was much improved in his second European outing. A resurgent Boris Berian won the race, but Lasater finished second in 1:46.54.

USATF Outdoor Championships

June 21-24, 2018

Brandon Lasater and Bridget Lyons traveled to Des Moines, Iowa, to compete in the 2018 USATF Outdoor Championships. Lasater, with a season's best of 1:45.85, used a patented kick to surge into second place in the first two rounds, entering both final turns near the back of the pack before bursting into second. In the first round, he was behind Clayton Murphy; In the second behind Erik Sowinski. In the finals, however, that kick wasn't quite enough, and Lasater missed the podium behind those two men and Isaiah Harris, finishing in 1:48.27. This caps a remarkable U.S. season for Lasater and a first trip to the finals at the USATF Championships. Lyons, competing in both the 10,000m and the 5,000m, capped her track & field season with solid performances, finishing 14th and 12th, respectively, in the two events. In the 10,000m, she ran 33:49.40, and in the 5,000 a 16:06.33.

Portland Track Festival

Another season's best for Yolanda Ngarambe, who ran 4:16.53 in the 1500m. And Bridget Lyons ran a 5000m PR of 15:52.29 in one of her last races on the track.

Music City Distance Carnival

June 1-2, 2018

Ed Kemboi ran a season best 1:46.07, getting himself back into form. In his return to the track from injury, Christian DeLago ran an excellent 4:04.21.

USATF Georgia Meet of Champions

In an incredible, breakout performance, Brandon Lasater took home the victory in the USATF Georgia Meet of Champions Dream 800m in 1:45.85. Once again using an incredible kick, Lasater powered past Erik Sowinski, Alex Amankwah, and Quamel Prince to shatter his personal best and take the title.

Medtronic TC 1 Mile

A slightly disappointing evening for Atlanta Track Club Elite, as Brandon Hazouri finished sixth in 4:06.0 and Brandon Lasater finished eighth in 4:10.0 at this road mile.

All Comers Track & Field

Brandon Lasater set a new 800m personal best, running 1:47:00 to defeat Nashville Track Club's Quamel Prince who clocked a finishing time of 1:47.04.

US Half Marathon Championships

In his first race in an Atlanta Track Club singlet, Wilkerson Given put on an impressive display, finishing seventh in 1:03:45. His training partner, Matt McDonald, crossed the line in 15th in 1:05:23.

Payton Jordan Invitational

May 3, 2018

In his first return to the track since the IAAF World Championships in 2017, Rob Mullett finished 14th in the men's 3000m steeplechase in a time of 8:47.88. Bridget Lyons, in one of the final track races of her career, smashed her 10,000m personal best with a 33:05.91.
