Atlanta Track Club Accepting Nominations for Board of Directors

ATLANTA -- August 6, 2018 -- Atlanta Track Club, the second largest running organization in the United States and a 501(c)(3) not for profit is accepting nominations for positions on its Board of Directors. Nominations will be accepted through Tuesday, September 11.

"Atlanta Track Club's Board of Directors is comprised of members who are passionate about the Club's mission, have proven leadership skills, a strong work ethic and a commitment to serve the Club," said Shawn Hardister, the Chair of the Board. "This is a unique opportunity to have a front row seat at the organization that built and continues to build Running City USA."

The Board of Directors is the governing body for the Club and is responsible for driving strategic direction aligned to the mission and vision. Nominees must be Atlanta Track Club members for at least one year and reflect the diversity of the organization as well as the broader Atlanta, national and global running community. Nominees can be nominated by a third party or they may nominate themselves.
