Entries Announced for Wingfoot Miles

ATLANTA -- May 18, 2017 -- Atlanta Track Club announced entrants in the annual Wingfoot Miles today. The miles will be run at the All Comers Track & Field Meet on Tuesday, May 23 at Buck Godfrey Stadium in Decatur. New this year, Atlanta Track Club has added a middle school mile in addition to high school and professional miles.

The Middle School race pits some of Georgia’s heavy hitters against each other.  Middle School State Champions and runners up, and USATF Junior Olympic Champions will clash in this race.

The Middle School boys will be just as strong with 6 of the state fastest boys running under 5 minutes.  3200 meter standout Justin Watchell set the US #2 time just behind National Record Holder Zack Truitt at the Middle School State Meet.  Zack is out due to a stress fracture, but Watchell will be running from Amir Dayal and Even Miner who pose a serious threat with their footspeed.
