Stop Soldier Suicide 100 Mile Challenge

Stop Soldier Suicide 100 Mile Challenge

Stop Soldier Suicide (SSS) is a veteran-led nonprofit that provides free mental health and wellness care to veterans and service members across the country. Our 100 Mile Challenge for Suicide Prevention Month, sponsored by USAA, is free and open to all ages and skill levels. Fundraising is not required, but participants who choose to start a fundraiser for SSS as part of their challenge experience are eligible to receive a free t-shirt. About the Challenge: We challenge runners to run 100 miles in the month of September (at their pace) and raise awareness and resources to support suicide prevention in the military community. These challenges help us engage people in our nonprofit's mission and elevate the conversation about military mental health and wellness in communities across the country. The challenge experience, including mileage tracking, is run entirely on Facebook and in Facebook Messenger. Participants can log their runs, share updates, and connect with other runners, clubs, veterans, and service members on our community challenge page.
