Start the new year off right at the Atlanta Track Club's Resolution Run on New Years Day! This family friendly event features a 5K, 10K, One Mile Fun Run and Tiny Trot 50 meter dash.
Registration: Online registration is now closed. Please note, there will be no race-day registration.
Entry Fee:
Resolution Run 5K and 10K*:
$22.00 through 11:59 p.m. on 12/23
$25.00 12/24 through 11:59 p.m. on 12/30
Resolution Run One Mile Fun Run (ages 7+):
$10.00 through 11:59 p.m. on 12/23
$15.00 through 11:59 p.m. on 12/30
Tiny Trot 50 meter dash (ages 6 and under): Free
*Participants in the 5K must be at least eight years of age as of race day and participants in the 10K must be at least ten years of age on race day.
Race Day Information:
There is no race day registration. Number pickup will be available race morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Aaron Rents parking lot (1015 Cobb Place Blvd., Kennesaw, GA 30144). The One Mile Fun Run starts at 11:30 a.m. followed by the 5K and 10K at 12:00 p.m.
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no headphones, pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, bicycles, roller or inline skates, are permitted on the 5K or 10K course. The One Mile Fun Run is stroller friendly.
Course:
All events start and finish on Cobb Place Boulevard just outside of the Aaron Rents parking lot. Both the 5K and 10K courses are flat and fast. The 5K is a loop course and the 10K is a double loop of the 5K course - perfect for getting a qualifying time for the 2010 AJC Peachtree Road Race. View 5K/10K course map.
Awards:
All participants in the 5K and 10K run / walk will receive a long-sleeve technical shirt. Awards will be presented to the top male and female in the Open and Masters divisions for both the 5K and 10K. Awards will also be presented to the top three men and women in each age group for the 5K and 10K. All participants in the One Mile Fun Run will receive a long-sleeve cotton T-shirt.
