Testimonials

"The partnership between Atlanta Public Schools and the Atlanta Track Club has been a real blessing for our athletes and for me as a coach. Our athletes have been inspired by the professional and collegiate runners they have met, they love the atmosphere at meets facilitated by the Track Club, and I am grateful for the coaching development I have received, including USATF certification. I hope to see the partnership continue to grow over the coming years."

Jerry Kosoff - KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Head Track & Field and Cross Country Coach

"We had a fantastic cross country season thanks to Atlanta Track Club. They have brought a new level of competition and athleticism to APS! We greatly enjoyed the weekly enthusiasm and positivity!"

Valerie Davis, B.E.S.T. Academy Head Cross County Coach

"Atlanta Track Club provided our school with the means to create a cross country program for our middle school. Practicing and competing with the team has been the highlight of the year for myself as well as our kids."

Thomas Pearson, Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School Head Cross Country Coach

"It has been really rewarding to have Atlanta Track Club assisting The Atlanta Public Schools in various ways. Atlanta Track Club has specifically assisted Therrell High School in maintaining our program. We've been able to work together on finding competition opportunities for both the cross country and the track and field seasons, we've been able to introduce and expose our scholar-athletes to the Wingfoot Running Camp, and we've been able to obtain new equipment to allow our athletes to train to the best of their abilities. My job as a coach has been made much easier given Atlanta Track Club's vital role in our community! We sincerely appreciate everything you all do."

Moses Kilpatrick- Girls Cross Country, Head Coach at D.M. Therrell High School

"Atlanta Track Club has helped create a pathway for runners new to Cross Country to be introduced to the sport. This sport has a high learning curve and prior to our partnership a lot of my 9th-grade runners had never been to a meet. Intimidation is the number one barrier to getting new runners into the sport. When I started coaching eight years ago, we had a team of 15 runners and last year we had over 50 runners. Atlanta Track Club's partnership in creating meets for our runners is the number one reason why we have seen growth in the sport at our school".
