Cross Country Youth Team

About Atlanta Track Club Cross Country Youth Team
Atlanta Track Club Cross Country Youth Team is open to kids in grades 4-8 of all ability and experience levels. Our Cross Country Youth Team members develop the endurance, strength, and speed needed to succeed in cross country and most other sports. Learning how to run with proper form, stretch correctly, set goals, and overcome the physical and mental hills and valleys of running are a few of the healthy habits that will support team members physically and mentally throughout life.

High school athletes in grades 9-12 who are home-schooled or lack access to a local high school program are also welcome to join the youth team for the full season. High school athletes who compete for their local high school are eligible to join the team only for the postseason, after their high school seasons have ended. High school athletes will compete outside of high school associations in club and open competitions.

He moved to Atlanta in 2005 to train at Georgia Tech and continue his post-collegiate career. Coach Brown has made several appearances at the USATF National Championships with a few U.S. top 15 rankings in the 400 hurdles. On top of Coach Brown's many personal accomplishments, he has 20+ years of track & field coaching at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels. When he is not coaching he is working as the President of Dream Scouting Network which assists high school student-athletes through the recruiting process. Outside of the running world, he is married and has four kids. He can be found on a track coaching or on a soccer field cheering for his kids.

Renisha Robinson

Renisha grew up in the sunny city of San Jose, California, where she discovered her passion for running at the young age of six, thanks to her father, who is an avid runner and was a track and field/cross-country coach. Her success in track and field was also due to the significant role played by her mother, who provided unconditional support, guidance, and meal preparation. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from California State University, Sacramento, and later completed her MBA at the University of Central Florida. Before joining Atlanta Track Club, Renisha has worked primarily in the non-profit sector to help drive and bridge the gap between under-resourced communities and access to resources for others to be the best version of themselves and become self-sufficient.

Robinson earned three-time All-American as a collegiate middle distance runner and has achieved remarkable success in track and field/cross-country for the past 20+ years. In her free time, Renisha enjoys cooking, traveling, finding new eateries in Atlanta and spending quality time with her loved ones.

Hannah Wilde

Hannah Wilde grew up in Georgia and ran on the high school cross country team at McIntosh in Peachtree City. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2021 where she mostly ran for leisure in between classes. In the years since graduating, she rediscovered her love and passion for running distance on a competitive level. She just completed her first marathon and is planning on doing many more! When she's not training, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and family!
