The Atlanta Track Club is dedicated to inspiring and engaging Atlanta area youth to make better lifestyle choices and become active through the sport of running. Together with the community, we are committed to fighting the childhood obesity epidemic. Below are the youth running events and programs the ATC offers throughout the year:
Kilometer Kids
Kilometer Kids is incentive-based running program designed to get kids (ages 7 to 12) in the community active! Whether you are a teacher looking to start an after-school program, or a parent looking to run with their child in the neighborhood, the free, 11-week online program is a great way to get kids in the community active! AJC Peachtree Jr. 3K
The AJC Peachtree Jr, is a 3K fun run for kids ages 7-12. The event is designed to offer kids the experience, excitement and prestige of the AJC Peachtree Road Race under safe conditions and without the pressures of competition. The AJC Peachtree Jr. event also features the Lil' Peach Dash for kids 6 and under. Learn more about the event here.
Kids Fun Runs
The ATC offers fun runs for the kids at the following events: Atlanta Half Marathon and Thanksgiving Day 5K, Resolution Run 5K & 10K, Hearts & Soles 5K, Atlanta's Finest 5K, Haunted Hustle 5K and Run Around the Rock.
