Available Media Credentials

Media - The Media Credential allows access to the designated media areas at the start area and designated platforms and work space in the finish area. This credential also provides access along the side of the course. Media must stay off the road/course at all times. The Media Credential does not allow access to the athlete warm-up area at the start, press truck, medical areas, athlete hospitality area/awards ceremony at the finish, photographer only areas or any other restricted areas.

Press Truck Media - The Press Truck Media Credential allows access to the same areas listed for the Media Credential as well as the Men’s or Women’s Press Truck. The Press Truck Media Credential does not allow access to the athlete warm-up area at the start, medical areas, athlete hospitality area/awards ceremony at the finish, photographer only areas or any other restricted areas. There is limited availability on both press trucks.

The women’s elite field starts at 7:18 a.m. followed by the men’s elite field at 7:30 a.m. There is a separate press truck for the women’s and men’s elite field. You must be on your assigned press truck no later than 10 minutes before that field’s start time.

Photographer - Small platforms will be provided at the start line and finish line for a select number of photographer requests. The Photographer Credential will be given in addition to one of the Media Credentials above. The Photographer Credential allows access to the same areas listed for the Media Credential as well as the Photographers Only platform located in the median just before the start line and the Photographers Only area just before the finish line. The Photographer Credential does not allow access to the athlete warm-up area at the start, medical areas, athlete hospitality area/awards ceremony at the finish or any other restricted areas.

Awards Ceremony/Post-Race Press Conference – New this year, the Awards Ceremony and Post-Race Press Conference will take place at 9:15 a.m. inside Park Tavern’s Piedmont Room. The Awards Ceremony/Post-Race Press Conference provides access to this event for a select number of media members.
