2015 Braves Country 5KCome celebrate Father's Day Weekend with Atlanta Track Club and the Atlanta Braves at the Braves Country 5K. This family friendly event offers something for the whole family including a One Mile and 50m Dash. All 5K and One Mile participants finish inside Turner Field on the warning track with a special welcome on the scoreboard. The 50m Dash will take place inside Monument Grove.

Each 5K registration includes a ticket to that evenings match-up against the New York Mets and a Mizuno shirt. All participants are invited to walk in the pre-game parade at Turner Field before the start of that evening's game, and enjoy a free post-game concert with Boyz II Men. Additional game tickets can be purchased at a discounted rate for friends and family to celebrate with you at the ballpark.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Providing we have not reached race capacity, we will offer registration at early race number pick-up and on race day for this event.

  • Cost: $39 or $49 via cash or credit card
  • Deadline to register on rade day and be timed: 7:00 a.m.
  • Register at Road Runner Sports on Friday, June 19 between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and get $10 from Road Runner Sports to spend on anything you want in the store AND a drawing will be held for $250 in store credit!

T-shirt sizing and availability cannot be guaranteed for those registering on race day.

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

COURSE

2015 Braves Country 5K Course Map

Course time limit:

  • 5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, no headphones, pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicyclyes are permitted on the course.

AWARDS

  • 5K Men's and women's Overall Awards
  • 5K Men's and women's Masters Awards
  • 5K Age Group Awards for the top three men and women in each age group (14 and under, five-year increments up to 80+)

All participants in the One Mile Fun Run will receive a medal and all participants in the Kilometer Kids Dash will receive a ribbon.

GAME TICKETS

Participant tickets and any additional tickets purchased during registration, will be handed out after the event in the plaza. If you wish to be seated next to friends/family who also participated in the event, please line-up with them to receive all tickets together.

Additional tickets can also be purchased at the event.

PARKING

Free parking will be available in the Green and Blue lots. Both Capitol Ave. and Hank Aaron Drive will close to traffic by 6:00 a.m. and participants will be re-routed by officers into the Green and Blue Lots.

SPECTATORS

Friends and family members are allowed inside Turner Field to cheer participants on at that finish line. Spectators will be directed to sections 109-117, behind the Braves dugout, by Turner Field employees. Spectators are asked to stay within this designated area. Spectators are not allowed on to the field.

The spectator area is also where parents of those participating in the One Mile Fun Run can meet up with their child.

PRE-GAME PARADE

For participants and volunteers attending the Atlanta Braves game on Saturday, June 20 against the New York Mets, you and your family members are invited to take part in the pre-game parade around the field. You will need to arrive at the East gate no later than 5:00 p.m. to participate in the parade. The parade line up is at the Hank Aaron Ramp across from aisle 129. Don't forget to wear your race T-shirt!

RACE NUMBER PICK UP

New this year, we are offering race number pick-up on Friday, June 19 from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm at Road Runner Sports Atlanta or race day, Saturday, June 20 from 6:00 am - 7:30 am. Road Runner Sports Atlanta is located at Powers Ferry Square (3756 Roswell Rd NE), in the heart of Buckhead near Chastain Park. BONUS! When you stop by on June 19, you'll get $10 from Road Runner Sports to spend on anything you want in the store. Don't miss out on this exclusive gift for race participants only!
