2015 Singleton 5K/10K

The Singleton 5K & 10K is named after one of our founding members and a pioneer in road racing, Dr. Tim Singleton. Singleton had a passion for road racing and a vision to create events that celebrated the back of the pack as much as those at the front and a product of that vision is what we now know as the AJC Peachtree Road Race. Dr. Singleton made a significant impact on the health and fitness of the Atlanta community and left an amazing legacy for future generations.

Join us as we honor Dr. Singleton, whether you are participating in this event as part of your training for the AJC Peachtree Road Race or as a part of our Grand Prix Series we look forward to walking and running with you!

The 2015 Singleton 5K/10K is the 5th event in the 2015 Atlanta Track Club Grand Prix Series.

Providing that we have not reached race capacity, we will offer race day registration for this event.

Cost: Free for members, $10 for non-members, $5 for high school students
Deadline to register and be timed: 7:00 a.m.

Results

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

COURSE

Course time limit:

5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)
10K: 1 hour 45 minutes (17 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no headphones, pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

We are offering a special race day registration rate of $5 for all high school students. You must register by 7:00 am on race day and show your high school ID to receive the discounted rate.

SWITCHING RACES

If you need to change from one race to the other, you must do so by 7:00 a.m. Doing so after this time will result in disqualification.

Men's and women's Overall Awards for both 5K and 10K
Men's and women's Masters Awards for both 5K and 10K
Age Group Awards for the top three men and women in each age group (14 & under, five-year increments up to 80+)
