Toe the first start line of 2017 with Atlanta Track Club at the Resolution Run. This event features a 4 Miler, One Mile and 50m Dash, and is a great way to get the entire family moving. With a start/finish line conveniently located at the Brookhaven MARTA station, this event is easy to access. The Resolution Run is the best way to get your 2017 off to a healthy start!
Due to the popularity of this race, all t-shirts are sold out.
T-shirts will not be available with race day registration.

- 8:30 a.m. Number pick-up/event day registration opens
- 9:30 a.m. Deadline to register to be timed and included in results

- 10:45 a.m. 50m Dash start
- 10:45 a.m. 4 Miler/One Mile awards ceremony
- 11:20 a.m. Course closes
Event Day Registration
We will offer race day registration for this event. However, no t-shirts will be available with race day registration. Race day registration is historically very busy. If you plan to register at the event, we suggest you arrive no later than 9:00 a.m.
Cost: 4 Miler/$30, One Mile/$15, 50m Dash/$10
Deadline to register and be timed: 9:30 a.m. race morning
Timing & Results
Unofficial results are available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.
Your timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is...
- Clearly visible on the front of the torso
- Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
- Pinned in all four corners
- Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)
Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.
Course time limit:
- 4 Miler: 1 hour and 20 minutes (20 minute per mile pace)
- One Mile: 30 minutes
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no headphones, pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course.
- 4 Miler: Ages 9 and up
- One Mile: 7 and up
- 50m Dash: 6 and under
Number/t-shirt pick-up will take place the morning of the event beginning at 8:30 a.m.
If you would like to switch distances between the One Mile and 4 Mile, please email [email protected] by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28. You can also change distances on race day at the Race Day Registration table. All changes must be made by 9:30 a.m. on race day. Participants who switch distances mid-race will be disqualified and removed from results.
Gear Check for MARTA Passengers
Participants utilizing MARTA to travel to/from Resolution Run are invited to check gear at a special "MARTA Passenger Gear Check" located in the event finish festival area. Show your MARTA Breeze card and check your warm clothes for safe keeping until after the event. Open to MARTA passengers only.
Limited parking is also available in the MARTA parking lot accessible off Dresden Drive, or Apple Valley Rd via North Druid Hills. Carpooling is encouraged.
Public Transportation is highly encouraged. The event is located at the Brookhaven Oglethorpe MARTA station on the Gold Line.
The following awards will be given for both the 4 Miler and One Mile:
- Overall Male and Female Awards
- Masters Male and Female Awards
- Age Group Awards for the top three males and females in each age group (14 & under, five-year increments up to 90+)
Age group awards, new 2017 1st Place patches and wings, for this event will be those traditionally given for a grand prix event.
