2024 March Midweek Mile & Dash

The Midweek Mile & Dash is a FREE youth event designed for kids ages 14 and under.

All participants can have fun in the Track & Field Zone with Atlanta Track Club's elite athletes while parents learn more about our youth events and youth programming in the information tent. This is the first of three spring midweek mile & dash events (March 13, April 10, May 8). Challenge yourself throughout the spring to improve your performances with each event!

Atlanta Track Club events are held rain or shine. However, the threat of lightning or other severe weather in the vicinity of the event may result in a delay or cancellation. For full details on our event policies, including weather, refunds and cancellations, click here.

Course Information

  • The Dash course will utilize the large, grassy Meadow.
  • The timed Mile course will start on Piedmont Park's walking path and continue around the Meadow, past Lake Clara Meer and finish in the Meadow. Volunteers will lead the mile waves, and course monitors will be stationed along the course for participant safety.

For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, no headphones, pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including roller/inline skates, and bicycles are permitted on the course.

Race Day Registration begins at 5:00 p.m.

Timing & Results

Unofficial results available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is a MyLaps timing tag. The device is adhered to the back of your race number. DO NOT REMOVE OR BEND. Wearing your race number improperly could result in improper scoring and possible disqualification. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your race number is:

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, water bottles, etc.)
