2024 Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon, 5K, Mile & Dash
Kick off your Thanksgiving with the Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon, 5K, Mile & Dash. It's an Atlanta tradition! Runners and walkers will start their race under Atlanta's iconic Olympic rings, then stick around for a post-race celebration. You'll want to bring your medal and your bragging rights to Thanksgiving dinner.
Registration opens November 24, 2023
Atlanta Track Club intends to hold the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon, 5K, Mile & Dash as scheduled on November 28. The Club has a no refund policy. However, If the format of the event moves to virtual ONLY or is cancelled all together due to a force majeure event, you will be given the option to receive a full refund (less processing fees from registration vendor). If, due to circumstances beyond the control of Atlanta Track Club, the location of the event has to be changed, refunds will not be provided, but you will be immediately notified via email and social media. Atlanta Track Club events are held rain or shine. However, the threat of lightning or other severe weather in the vicinity of the event may result in a delay or cancellation. Course Information
Course time limits:
- Half Marathon: 3 hours and 30 minutes (16 minute per mile pace)
- 5K: 1 hours and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)
- Mile: 25 minutes
Hydration & Fuel Stations:
- Half Marathon:
Hydration - 2.7, 4.1, 6.1, 8, 10.5 miles
Fuel - 8 miles - 5K
Hydration - 1.75 miles
For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, no headphones, pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including roller/inline skates, and bicycles are permitted on the course.
Number Pickup
Number Pickup will occur prior to event day. Numbers will not be available on race day unless Will Call is Purchased.
All half marathon and 5K participants must pick up their number during number pick up hours Will Call was purchased. Participants are welcome to send a friend or family member to pick up their number but they must present your check-in pass.
Mile & Dash participants have the option to pick up their number at one of the above times, or on race day. Race Day Number Pickup is offered for mile and dash runners ONLY.
Race day registration is not offered for this event. Onsite registration is available during Number Pickup dates/times held prior to event day.

Unofficial results available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquiries have been processed.
Your timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is...

- Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)

- Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)
Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.
Athletes with Disabilities
Athletes who possess a visual, physical or developmental disability are permitted to participate with guides and support runners in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race, Publix Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon and 5k, PNC Atlanta 10 Miler and 5K and Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon and 5K. Guides and support runners are those who provide verbal cues and navigation support to an athlete with a disability.
Atlanta Track Club will provide a complimentary race entry for one support runner or guide at the Publix Atlanta Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K, Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race, PNC Atlanta 10 Miler and 5K and Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon and 5K. Requests for guide/support runner entry into other Atlanta Track Club events should be requested by contacting awd@atlantatrackclub.org.
Dogs & Strollers
Rules & Regulations
Atlanta Track Club wants every member of the family to feel welcome at the 2024 Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day 5K including those family members in strollers/baby joggers as well as your four-legged friends on leashes. Participants pushing strollers/baby joggers and those with dogs will start their race in a dedicated wave for dogs and strollers. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, we ask all participants pushing a young one in a stroller/baby jogger or holding a leash adhere to rules and regulations. Please note dogs and strollers are only allowed in the Thanksgiving Day 5K.
