Join the Atlanta Police Foundation for the 2025 Atlanta's Finest 5K, organized by Atlanta Track Club. This race is an opportunity to thank local law enforcement and public safety officials for keeping the roads safe during Atlanta Track Club's events throughout the year.

EVENT UPDATE:

Atlanta's Finest 5K Update: Thanks to the community's support, Atlanta Track Club and the Atlanta Police Foundation are donating 100% of the registration proceeds to Officer David Rose's family. Post-event donations were accepted for 24 hours after the event.

The Saturday, August 16 Event Supported the Family of Fallen Officer David Rose

In light of the recent and tragic passing of DeKalb County Police Officer David Rose, Atlanta Track Club and the Atlanta Police Foundation have decided registration proceeds from this weekend's Atlanta's Finest 5K will be donated to an education fund for his children. Officer Rose was killed in the line of duty and leaves behind two children and one on the way. Join us in honoring his memory and supporting his family through this meaningful act of community.

Course time limit:

  • 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, roller/inline skates and bicycles, are NOT permitted on the course. Dogs and strollers must start in their designated wave. Headphones are strongly discouraged.

Limited parking will be available in the World of Coca-Cola parking garage (126 Ivan Allen Jr Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30313). Vehicles entering the garage prior to 7:00 a.m. will receive a discounted rate of $12 per vehicle per day. Vehicles arriving after 7:00 a.m. will be charged the standard rate of $20 per day.

MARTA

Public Transportation is highly encouraged. There are two MARTA train stops to choose from:

  • MARTA stop W1: Dome/GWCC/State Farm Arena/CNN Center
  • MARTA stop N1: Peachtree Center.

It is approximately a 10 minute walk from either station

Timing & Results

Unofficial results are immediately available online via the Atlanta Track Club Race Day App. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquiries have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the MYLAPS ThinTag placed on the back of your bib. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is:

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

Dogs & Strollers

Atlanta Track Club wants every member of the family to feel welcome at the 2025 Atlanta's Finest 5K, including those family members in strollers/baby joggers as well as your four-legged friends on leashes. Participants pushing strollers/baby joggers and those with dogs will start their race in a dedicated wave for dogs and strollers. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, we ask all participants pushing a young one in a stroller/baby jogger or holding a leash adhere to rules and regulations. Awards

Overall awards are based on gun time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are based on net time.

  • Overall male, female and non-binary
  • Overall male, female and non-binary APD Officers
  • Age Group Awards for the top three males, females and non-binary in each age group (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, five-year increments up to 90+).
