Grand Prix Cross Country 5K

Join us for the Grand Prix Cross Country 5K on October 8, 2025 and race through beautiful Legacy Park in Decatur. Get back to your roots running through the woods and fields on this two loop course. This event is free and exclusive to Atlanta Track Club members. This is the final event in the 2025 Atlanta Track Club Grand Prix Series before the Finale on December 6.

Registration will open on August 22, 2025 at 3:00pm and registration will be limited to 350 participants.

  • 1 hour and 15 minutes (25:00 min/mile)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course.

Parking

Limited parking is available onsite. Please plan on utilizing offsite parking and arrive at least 45 minutes before your race to have time to park and walk to the event. Offsite parking options will be available closer to event day.

Race Number Pick Up

Number pickup will held race day beginning at 5:00 p.m. near the start line.

Hydration Stations

Please arrive with your own hydration for this event. There will be one aid station on course for those needing to refill their personal hydration system. Participants will receive a bottle of water at the finish line.

Awards

Overall awards are based on gun time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are based on gun time. There is no net scoring for this event as there will be no start mats to collect net time.

  • Overall male, female and non-binary
  • Masters male, female and non-binary
  • Age Group Awards for the top three males, females and non-binary in each 5 year age division (10 & under, 11- 4, 15-19, five year increments up to 90+)

Grand Prix Series

The Grand Prix Cross Country 5K is the last event in the 2025 Grand Prix Series before the Finale on December 6. For more information on the 2025 Grand Prix Series, please click here. Please note your age on December 31, 2025 is used as your base age for Grand Prix scoring. For example, if you are currently 34 years old but will be turning 35 in November, your age will appear as 35 in the standing throughout the Grand Prix season.
