2025 adidas Atlanta City Games Youth Mile & Dash

EVENT UPDATE: DELAYED
Due to inclement weather, the adidas Atlanta City Games Youth Mile & Dash will be delayed by 90 minutes.
Race Number Pickup will open at 10:00 a.m.
Both the Mile & Dash will now start at 11:00 a.m.

ABOUT THE EVENT:
The Youth Mile & Dash portion of adidas Atlanta City Games will take place on Saturday, May 17. This FREE youth event is designed for kids ages 14 and under. This event is open to the public, and will also be the culminating event of the season for all Kilometer Kids Teams. Held at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, kids 6-14 can run a mile on the paved paths in the park. (Kilometer Kids who are 5 years old will also be able to register for the Mile through a link provided to their coach).
This final event will also have a Kilometer Kids Coaches/Kilometer Kids Parents wave for current coaches and parents of Kilometer Kids. Join us and celebrate the love of running!
The Youth Mile & Dash is only the beginning of a very exciting day of running - adidas Atlanta City Games High School Meet of Champions and professional races will also be taking place! Join us this evening to see some of the best athletes in the world compete on an elevated track surface built in Piedmont Park! Stay tuned for special opportunities for Youth Mile & Dash participants at adidas Atlanta City Games.

*Bibs will be color-coded by age. This will help participants find the correct start corral and will help our child pickup area volunteers access the correct exit gate. Please ensure your Miler is wearing the correct age bib.
*Runners can "age up" in the waves and run with older siblings or friends, but older runners cannot run in a younger wave. For safety purposes, we strongly recommend running in the age-appropriate wave.

Course Information
For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, no headphones, pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including roller/inline skates, and bicycles are permitted on the course.
Race Day Registration
Due to EVENT DELAY: Race Day Registration will no begin at 10:00 a.m., if the event has not reached capacity.
Timing & Results
Unofficial results are immediately available online via the Atlanta Track Club Race Day App and on the event webpage during the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquiries have been processed.
Your timing device for this event is a MYLAPS ThinTag. The device is adhered to the back of your race number. DO NOT REMOVE OR BEND. Wearing your race number improperly could result in improper scoring and possible disqualification. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your race number is:
- Clearly visible on the front of the torso
- Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
- Pinned in all four corners
- Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, water bottles, etc.)
Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.
