All participants have the opportunity to finish on the field of Mercedes-Benz Stadium and 100% of the proceeds go to MADD Georgia.

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz Stadium Move with MADD 5K is MADD's signature fundraising event to help us raise both awareness and funds to eliminate drunk and drugged driving. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium Move with MADD 5K is part of the ATL Fit Fan Series. The ATL Fit Fan series consists of all three Atlanta Track Club sports races and in-person participants of all three will receive a unique medal upon completion of the final race.

COURSE INFORMATION

Course Time Limit:

  • 5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)
  • Hydration Station at 2 miles - Water Only

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course. Headphones are strongly discouraged.

Parking

Free parking is offered to all pre-registered participants. A parking pass will be emailed to all pre-registered participants prior to event day. Anyone registering on the day of the event will be asked to pay for parking.

MARTA

Public Transportation is highly encouraged. Mercedes-Benz Stadium is most easily accessible on MARTA via the westbound (blue) train to the GWCC/CNN Center stop. Visit MARTA for details.

Awards

Overall awards are based on gun time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are based upon net time.

  • Overall male, female and non-binary
  • Masters male, female and non-binary
  • Age Group Awards for the top three males, females and non-binary in each age group (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, five-year increments up to 90+)

Timing & Results

Unofficial results are immediately available online via the Atlanta Track Club Race Day App. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquiries have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the MYLAPS ThinTag placed on the back of your bib. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is:

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

Spectators

All spectators are welcome to enter Mercedes-Benz Stadium to cheer on the participants. Entrance to the stadium is at Gate 2 and stairwells in sections 133 and 134 will lead you to the field. Please give yourself time to go through a security check. Only clear bags are allowed inside the stadium.
