2026 Northside Beltline 5K presented by Resurgens Orthopaedics

Atlanta's favorite running and walking destination and Atlanta's historic running and walking organization are teaming up to bring races to the Beltline. This stop of the series takes us to the Northside near Bobby Jones Golf Course. Test your speed in the competitive 5K (ages 8 & older) or stick to the non-competitive 3K (ages 7 & older) where strollers and dogs are welcome.

REGISTRATION

  • Online Registration will close on Friday, April 17 at 9:00 PM or when registration sells out
  • There will be on site Registration if there are spots available

TIMING & RESULTS

Both the competitive 5K distance and non-competitive 3K distance will be timed. Unofficial results are immediately available online via the Atlanta Track Club Race Day App. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquiries have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the MYLAPS ThinTag placed on the back of your bib. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is:

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

2025 COURSE

Course time limit:

  • 3K: 50 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)
  • 5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, pets or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, are ONLY permitted on the 3K course. Race Day Number Pickup will take place the morning of the event beginning at 6:30 a.m. T-shirts will be distributed at the same location after the event.

Parking

Street parking is available around the Northside Beltline Trail on Havenridge Dr. (There is a parking lot and access to the Beltline at GPS 211 Havenridge Dr.), Dellwood Drive, Golfview Drive NW and Redland Road NW. Awards - 5K Only

Overall and Masters awards are based on gun time, and overall winners and those who earn prize money are not eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are based on net time.

Awards & Prize Money:

  • 5K Overall male, female*
    Prize Money: 1st - $250, 2nd - $125, 3rd - $75
  • 5K Overall nonbinary
    Award Only - 1st Place
  • 5K Masters male, female
    Award Only - 1st Place

Prize money winners must be an Atlanta Track Club members in order to receive prize money. Physical Awards will be given on site, prize money will be distributed within two weeks.

Age group awards will be available on site for the top three finishers in each age division:

  • 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, and 90+ (excluding the overall winners)

Age Limits

3K: Ages 7 & up

5K: Ages 8 & up

In order to serve all our athletes, Atlanta Track Club offers opportunities for Athletes with Disabilities (AWD). Atlanta Track Club officials will provide reasonable accommodation to Athletes with Disabilities on an individualized and event by event basis.

Strollers & Dogs

Atlanta Track Club wants every member of the family to feel welcome at the Northside Beltline 3K - 5K including those family members with four legs or riding in strollers/baby joggers. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, dogs and baby joggers/strollers will start in their own wave and are ONLY permitted on the non-competitive 3K course. Dogs and baby joggers/strollers will NOT be permitted on the competitive 5K course. We ask all participants pushing a young one in a stroller/baby jogger or running with their pet to adhere to certain rules and regulations. Inclement Weather
