The 2026 Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior will return to Lenox Square for the 2nd year in a row! Peachtree Junior AND the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo presented by Publix are BOTH at Lenox Square for 2026! Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior will feature a Mile (timed), 50 meter Dash, and plenty of fun activities for the family. Registration for the Mile is open to kids ages 6-14, and the Dash registration is open to kids ages 6 & under. Registration is FREE and includes a Finisher's T-Shirt, medal and more. *Runners can "age up" in the waves and run with older siblings or friends, but older runners cannot run in a younger wave. For safety purposes, we strongly recommend running in the age-appropriate wave.

COURSE MAP & SAFETY
The 2026 Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior will be held at Lenox Square! The Mile will utilize the start line of the iconic Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race. Participants will run 0.5 miles south on Peachtree Road, turn around, and then head back to finish on Peachtree's start line. The Dash will start 50 meters south of the start line.
Safety is our top priority at Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior. The following measures are taken for our mile participants:
- Over 30 course monitor volunteers and police officers to make sure participants stay on track and move safely down the out-and-back course
- Lead (bicyclist or police motorcycle) and a sweep volunteer for each wave, ensuring that all participants finish safely
- Secure Child Pickup Area after the finish line, where we will hold your child until you arrive.
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, parents are not allowed on the Mile course.
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course. Headphones are strongly discouraged.
TIMING & RESULTS
All Mile registrants will be timed and unofficial results will live at the time of the event. Results will become final approximately two weeks after the event.
Your timing device for this
event is a MYLAPS ThinTag. The device is adhered to the back of your race
number. DO NOT REMOVE OR BEND. Wearing your race number improperly could result
in improper scoring and possible disqualification. In order to receive an
accurate time, please confirm your race number is:
- Clearly visible on the front of the torso
- Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
- Pinned in all four corners
- Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)
- If you do not wish to have your child timed, you may peel off the timing device or simply bend it several times.

An awards ceremony will be held and awards given to the top three in the Mile for each age: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14. Awards will be based on chip time only. Your child's bib is color-coded and marked with their age. Please ensure that your child is wearing the correct age on their bib.

RACE NUMBER PICKUP
Chick-fil-A Peachtree Junior participants will pick up their race numbers at the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo present by Publix. Bibs will be available for pickup during the following dates/times:
July 2, 2026 10:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. (9:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. Atlanta Track Club members only)
July 3, 2026 - Expo Doors are open from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. for Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior participants only! We highly recommend youth participants come during this window, if you do not come on July 2. Remaining hours are 10:00a.m. - 6:00p.m. (9:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. Atlanta Track Club members only)

MARTA is a great way to get to Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior! Lenox Station and Buckhead Station are the two stops we recommend to access the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo presented by Publix, as well as event headquarters for Peachtree Junior.

PARKING
There is ample parking at Lenox Square in their Red, Green and Blue parking decks. Please give plenty of extra time to navigate the area due to road closures and traffic delays. The easiest access to parking will be from Lenox Road.
SAFETY
Please be sure to complete the emergency contact info on the back of your child's bib number, using YOUR cell phone number. Please do NOT use a home phone as a contact number.
YOUTH RUNNING
Throughout the year, Atlanta Track Club organizes youth running events and programs, which provide children ages 14 and under with multiple races to keep kids moving all year long - almost all of which are free. See upcoming events!

PARTICIPANT SHIRTS
In keeping with the Peachtree tradition, the 2026 Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior participant shirt will be a "finisher's shirt," and the design won't be revealed until race morning! T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed; you will be given the size that you registered for while supplies last. Should you wish to exchange for a different size, we will allow exchanges starting at 10:15 a.m. race morning with our remaining inventory.
New Bib Design and Child Pickup Area
The 2026 Mile bibs come with attached bracelets that match the bib. Caregivers should detach and wear the bracelet race morning, and will show the bracelet at the Child Pickup Area gate volunteer for reunification with their Mile participant. Watch this short video to see how the Child Pickup Area works! Dash bracelets are to be worn by caregivers to gain entry into the secured Dash area on Peachtree Rd. Others can spectate from the sidewalk.
