Join us for a run and celebrate track season under the lights! In the third event of the Grand Prix Series, participants will test their speed and strength in the 1-Mile.

The Grand Prix 1 Mile takes place during our All Comers Track & Field Meet on Tuesday, May 19. Participants are welcome to come before the 1-mile race to participate in the variety of other track and field events hosted that evening.

As part of the Grand Prix Series, the Wingfoot Mile is free and exclusive to Atlanta Track Club members. Become a member here to join or renew to race for free!

Registration

  • Deadline to register is May 4, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
  • Registration will be capped at 450 participants.
  • High School and Middle School Invites will register through Milesplit.
  • Participants will be assigned a heat time between 6:45 p.m. - 9:45 p.m. based on their estimated finish time. Heats will be assigned and sent out on the Monday prior to the event.
  • Grand Prix Series races are exclusive to Atlanta Track Club members, learn more about membership here.
  • THERE WILL BE NO ON SITE REGISTRATION.

Heat Assignments

All heats will be assigned by estimated finish time, which will be submitted during registration.

We will use this time to place you within your appropriate heat. Heat assignments will be released prior to the event with estimated start times beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Timing and Results

Unofficial results are immediately available online via the Atlanta Track Club Race Day App and on the event webpage during the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquiries have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is a MYLAPS ThinTag. The device is adhered to the back of your race number. DO NOT REMOVE OR BEND. Wearing your race number improperly could result in improper scoring and possible disqualification. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your race number is:

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

Parking

Parking will be available on-site. Specific instructions will be sent out with participants emails.

Awards

Overall and Masters awards are based on gun time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are based on net time.

1-Mile Awards & Prize Money:

  • Overall male, female*
    Prize Money: 1st - $250, 2nd - $125, 3rd - $75
  • Overall nonbinary
    Award Only - 1st Place
  • Masters male, female
    Award Only - 1st Place
  • Age group awards for the top three males and females in each age group (ages 10-14, 15-19, five-year increments up to 90+)

*Overall winners must be an Atlanta Track Club members in order to receive prize money. Awards will be given on site.
