41st Annual Chattahoochee Road Race
| New for the 41st - Thru the Decades 1990's! (last year's race was 80's themed) Finisher medals! 5K and 10K finishers will receive a 3" custom medal! We'll close registration once we've reach finisher medal capacity, sign up early! This years event will be 90's themed! CRR10K started in 1984 and the 90's was it's first full decade in existence. Best costume contest $100 West Stride gift card to top male/female costumed runners! The 90's had Nirvana and grunge, the Spin Doctors, Cheryl Crow, Atlanta's own Collective Soul. T-shirt and medal will be a 90's homage! $1000 bike from Free Flight Bike (been $700 in the past) Chance to win bike raffle for all participants! Chattahoochee Road Runners trial membership; includes organized runs every Saturday morning and maps and water stops provided up until race date 3/2/24. Back for 2024! DJ and 90's music Course Update: The Mt Vernon bridge over 285 is temporarily closed (hit by a semi in October and due to be completed in summer 2024). This closure effects our certified course but we've made some adjustments to the course, which will still allow for our usual fast downhill finish. We will also certify these 2 new courses for the 5k and 10k as we know our race is one of the biggest Peachtree Road Race qualifier events. This is a very fast course; mostly flat and with a .75 mile downhill finish! One of the fastest 5K/10K races in Georgia and a great Peachtree Road Race seeded qualifier! You should have a negative split from first half to last half of your distance. That's why we call it the Downhill Finish! |
