The Streak Continues: In 2022, I was pregnant with my first child. I had a minor complication a couple of months before the race and wasn't able to exercise at any level more than a walk. I switched to the 5k, and completed it virtually by walking around my neighborhood, in order to keep my streak going. I was so proud of myself for coming back the next year and completing the half marathon again in person. During my second pregnancy, in 2024, I completed the half marathon at 21 weeks pregnant :)

Inaugural Year: I had recently moved to Atlanta for graduate school and had taken up running. My roommate was also a runner, so we signed up together. It was my first half marathon ever. I had no idea what I was getting myself into...ha.
