Due to inclement weather, today's Kilometer Kids One Mile Fun Run at Grant Park is cancelled. There is a 50% chance of strong scattered thunderstorms developing this afternoon and some of the storms may become severe and produce large hail and strong winds.
The event will not be rescheduled at this time.
We hope to see you at our All-Comers Track & Field Meets starting next week at Emory University, Tuesday May 6th.
Join the Atlanta Track Club and members of its youth running program, Kilometer Kids, for a fun run at Grant Park on Tuesday, April 29 at 5:30 p.m. This event is approximately one mile, and a fun way to get kids active and fit. This free event is open to all children ages 7 - 12. Registration will be available online starting on February 24 through 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 28, and race day registration is available at the event beginning at 4:30 p.m. A waiver must be completed and signed prior to the event. The event starts on the east side of the park at the intersection of Boulevard and Confederate Ave.
