ATLANTA, July 17, 2018 – Atlanta Track Club and Invesco QQQ today announced a multi-year partnership around the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon events, welcoming the Atlanta-based investment management company into one of the country’s longest-running half marathons. The agreement designates Invesco QQQ as the title sponsor for the Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon & 5K in 2018 and all events, including the One Mile & 50m Dash, through 2020.
The partnership also emphasizes opportunities for Invesco employees to volunteer during the event, demonstrating the company’s commitment to building Atlanta’s status as Running City USA and supporting health and wellness initiatives within their hometown.
"The Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon & 5K are an annual tradition for runners and walkers in Atlanta and beyond," said Rich Kenah, Atlanta Track Club's executive director. "The partnership will encourage Invesco employees and their families to have a healthy start to their holiday and will provide an elevated race day experience for runners and walkers across all four distances."
