ATLANTA – April 20, 2016 – Atlanta Track Club Elite traveled to Massachusetts to compete in the Boston Marathon as well as the B.A.A. Invitational Mile and 5K. The team turned out some impressive finishes.
In what turned out to be an extremely close women’s race, Christy Cazzola finished fourth in a time of 4:50.9. The first four women crossed the finish line within 1.3 seconds of each other.
Sallie Post finished 14th in the B.A.A. 5K with a time of 16:37.
Laurie Knowles ran the Boston Marathon in 2:45:19, making her the third American female to finish and 17th overall in the women’s race.
