Manager - Development

Casilda Kopp (but call her Cassie!) brings a blend of expertise in fundraising for community-focused organizations, performance on stage and screen, and a lifelong passion for self-growth. In her development work and beyond, she believes in the transformative power of authentic relationships and personal stories, and strives to bring purpose, warmth, and intention to everything she does. A graduate of Emerson College, she proudly founded First-Gen EM—a thriving community that empowers first-generation college students. She also supported The Baker Center and The New Bedford Whaling Museum through capital campaigns and other mission-driven initiatives.

Originally from a New England coastal town right on the ocean, Cassie now calls Atlanta home. Although she often misses the beach, she loves ATL's vibrancy and the sweet smell of Georgian honeysuckles and gardenias during her morning walks.

You can find Cassie waltzing through local farmers markets, harmonizing with her saxophonist husband, or spending time with their three cats - Pumpernickel, Feta, and Rosé - AKA the world's cutest cat-chuterie board.
