DASH FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS

The Gwinnett County Solicitor's Office will hold its inaugural Dash 4 Domestic Violence Awareness 5K on Saturday, October 5th at 8 a.m. in Alexander Park, located at 955 Scenic Highway in Lawrenceville. Admission is $30.00 per participant. This rate will increase to $35.00 after September 13. Participants can support the cause by walking, jogging, running, or sponsoring the event. Proceeds from the 5K will go to three domestic violence organizations that provide essential resources to survivors and education to the public: Mosaic Georgia, Partnership Against Domestic Violence and Ahimsa House. My office is excited to partner with these three dynamic organizations, each brings a distinct, but necessary component to this very important work that we all do for domestic violence awareness and support.
