Favorite Streaker Gift: the green trucker hat, for sure

Funny Memory: One year I finished the full marathon, and at the end my wife wanted to go look at houses. We ended up in this open houses in Decatur and I remember sitting down in a chair in the living room only to have my wife wake me up after a very nice nap.

Training Obstacles: For sure trying to be a responsible parent and spouse. I have been a band-dad and dance-dad for two now college kids. While they were growing up, I would need to get up at 4am in order to get in a decent run before doing dad-duties.

Honoring the Streak: I honor my streak every year by getting at least 1 minute slower. The race stuff goes in a box in the closet, but every year we have one Christmas tree that is just race medals.

How I Heard About the Inaugural Event: We did a lung transplant on a guy who was a serious runner and one day on rounds he said, "Hey doc, did you hear about this?"
