Join us for the Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler on August 7, 2021 and race through beautiful Decatur neighborhoods. This event is free to Atlanta Track Club members and only $20 for nonmembers. This is the fifth event in the 2021 Atlanta Track Club Grand Prix Series.

Atlanta Track Club intends to hold the Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler in Decatur as scheduled on 8/7/21. If the format of the event moves to virtual ONLY or is cancelled all together, you will be given the option to receive a full refund (less processing fees from registration vendor). If, due to COVD-19, the location of the event has to be changed, refunds will not be provided, but you will be immediately notified via email and social media.

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

Course time limit:

1 hour and 20 minutes (20:00 min/mile)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

Based on the guidelines released by the CDC, Atlanta Track Club has adopted specific policies to ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers, and staff. Atlanta Track Club reserves the right to ask anyone in attendance to leave the venue should they not comply.

Attendees who have received the COVID-19 vaccination will not be required to wear a mask.
Attendees who are not vaccinated are requested to wear a mask while not running or walking.
All participants to bring their own hydration on the course.
Attendees are requested to maintain social distancing throughout the duration of the event.

PARKING & MARTA

Paid parking is available in public parking decks (Courthouse/County Deck is closest) along W. Trinity Pl. Carpooling is encouraged. Participants are encouraged to utilize MARTA and access Decatur High School from the Decatur transit station (closer station) or the East Lake Station.

RACE NUMBER PICK UP

Decatur Dekalb 4 Miler number pickup will held race morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. at the bus pavilion.

VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS

Those selecting the virtual Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi Atlanta race option will be asked to complete and submit their race between Friday, August 6, 2021 and Monday, August 9, 2021. Virtual participants may submit their results by logging in to their haku account and on the "Registration Tab" click "view/edit" event, and submitting a new activity under the Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi Atlanta.

HYDRATION

Please arrive with your own hydration for this event. There will be one aid station on course for those needing to refill their personal hydration system. Participants will receive a bottle of water at the finish line.

AWARDS

Due to the race-by-appointment format, both overall awards and age group awards will be based on net time. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Award ceremonies will not be held on site in 2021. All awards will be emailed to participants after the event. All winners will receive a credit to Atlanta Track Club's online store which can be combined with future credits from other Grand Prix events.

GRAND PRIX

The Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi Atlanta is the sixth event in the 2021 Atlanta Track Club Grand Prix Series. For more information on the 2021 Grand Prix Series, please click here. Please note: Your age on December 31, 2021 is used as your base age for Grand Prix scoring. For example, if you are currently 34 years old but will be turning 35 in November, your age will appear as 35 in the standing throughout the Grand Prix season.
