| Gwinnett Parks Foundation Strong STRONG LEGS, STRONGS HEARTS, & STRONG MINDS The Gwinnett Parks Foundation, since its formation in 2001, has promoted the use of our nationally accredited parks and recreation programs. The Foundation created a scholarship fund to assure that all children and senior citizens were given the opportunity to participate in recreational and athletic activities in Gwinnett County. Gwinnett's youth and senior citizens who cannot afford to attend summer camps, swim lessons, and recreational classes are able to do so with the help from this program. The need is Great. The scholarship program over the last 2 years has exploded with record numbers of applications for sports and camp funding. To assure our youth are given the opportunity to reap the benefits of organized sports and structured day camps, and our senior citizens opportunity to participate in classes and programs. We are asking for your help in keeping our youth and seniors STRONG. |
