In-Training for Peachtree Expo & Emory Fitness Challenge

In-Training for Peachtree presented by Publix begins on Saturday, April 27th. It is an 11-week training program designed to prepare walkers, novice and intermediate runners for the 2013 AJC Peachtree Road Race on July 4th.

In-Training for Peachtree Expo and Emory Fitness Challenge will be on April 20 from 8:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.





The event will feature:

- Meet your coach for your training location

- Pick up your 2013 In-Training for Peachtree performance shirt

- Opportunity to talk with Emory Doctors regarding Health and Fitness

- Participate in the Emory Fitness Challenge

Emory Fitness Challenge

The Emory Fitness Challenge is an optional challenge for all In-Training for Peachtree training participants and coaches. Qualified nurses will be taking four health screeenings at the event on April 20 and then at the course run on June 22. The four health screenings are blood pressure, waist circumference, heart rate, and weight.

For those that have the highest percentage changed between the two measurements and meet the other qualifications throughout the program will receive a prize.
