Races Completed: One marathon, 3 half marathons, five 5Ks

Favorite Race Swag: I liked the hats we received that said the number of years 'running'. I still have all of those.

Craziest Memory: One year when I was training for the half, I pulled my calf muscle, I couldn't run but I could walk! So, I walked the entire half and had a great time. I took loads of fun pictures and talked to lots of the other walkers. I met a group of ladies who were walking 13.1 for the very first time. While I was bummed to be walking, they were so proud of themselves, they changed my outlook on the day, and I was indeed grateful just to be out there!

Toughest Year: Before the streak was a thing, the very first race was very hard physically. It was the only time I ran the full. It was hot and hilly and all things Atlanta!

Inaugural Race: While I am from Atlanta, I was living in Bermuda at the time. I was so excited to run a marathon in my home city. Everyone from my old running club was participating. I also knew I was moving back to Atlanta later that year. Bermuda was an amazing place to live and work (and run!), but I was so excited to get back to Atlanta and reconnect with my friends, especially my running friends. It was a hard race but a special weekend!
