Craziest Year: In 2024 I was running on a broken toe and didn't know it. Thought it was just bruised. I completed the 5k and my hamstring was really sore. I started the half the next day but realized a couple of miles in that it was not a good idea to continue! Got a doctors appointment on Tuesday hoping for a PT referral for the hamstring and found out my toe was broken. Really thankful that I had done the 5k!

Most Difficult Obstacle: Training through the winter months!

Inaugural Race: I don't remember how I heard about it. I had run the Thanksgiving half twice and the inaugural sounded fun. It started/finished at Woodruff Park (I saw on the website it says Centennial, but it was Woodruff). I ran into a former coworker doing her first race and stayed with her for about half the race.
