Inspired Sightings: Ran near Scott Rigsby one year and was so inspired!! Also, I got to meet Meb and Aliphine and got pix with them the year it was the Olympic Team Trials - Marathon.

Crazy Memory: Isn't running this hilly race every year amazing? Two years ago I missed my MARTA exit off 400, so finding the next one with all the construction detours was stressful in the dark at 5 a.m.! By myself without Waze on!!

Some Difficult Obstacles: Injured in 2022 and had to do the 5k with a fast walk. I was recovering from ankle injury and wasn't ready for running and distance. One year I flew back the day before the race from my mother-in-law's funeral. I did (race morning) will call for first time for number pickup, and flew back back Sunday afternoon.

The Streak Begins: I had just moved to Georgia. I can't recall how I heard about it. Likely online. I was hoping for a race I could do annually. I grew up near Philly and was at the 25th running of broad street run when they did a little tribute to 25 people that had their 25 year streak and I thought I'd never find a "new" race to be able to do the same thing, got lucky.
