Northside Hospital Introduced as the Title Partner of the Peachtree Road Race

ATLANTA - Feb. 10, 2026 - For the first time in 50 years, the Peachtree Road Race will welcome a new title partner. Today, Atlanta Track Club announced Northside Hospital as the naming rights partner for its premier running and walking event and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution as its official media partner.

The new partnership marks a historic evolution for the world's largest 10K, as the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race steps into a new era while continuing its long-standing tradition of celebrating health, fitness and community on the Fourth of July. It also cements Northside Hospital as the premier health care provider in Georgia and offers new opportunities for the tens of thousands of Peachtree participants to improve their health, just as the 36,000 employees of Northside improve the health and well-being of their communities daily.

"Northside Hospital has been a partner of the Atlanta Track Club and the Peachtree Road Race for more than a decade, and we are thrilled to enhance that partnership in a big way as the new title partner of this great Atlanta tradition," Deidre Dixon, Northside Hospital Atlanta CEO, said. "We're committed to helping Georgians live healthier lives, and we're excited to bring a new emphasis on health, not just to race day but year-round."

Northside Hospital has long supported Atlanta Track Club and the Peachtree Road Race through its sponsorship of the Northside Hospital Atlanta Women's 4 Miler. Today's announcement reflects the continued growth of a relationship built on shared values and a mutual commitment to improving health outcomes across Georgia.

Northside Hospital's title partnership also extends to the Club's other Peachtree-branded events: Peachtree Junior and the Polar Opposite Peachtree Road Race.

"Northside Hospital has long been a trusted pillar of health and wellness in our community, and we are proud to welcome them as the new title partner of the Peachtree Road Race," said Rich Kenah, CEO of Atlanta Track Club. "Their commitment to keeping Atlanta active and healthy aligns perfectly with the mission of Atlanta Track Club. Together, we will continue to elevate the Peachtree experience for runners, volunteers and spectators while honoring the tradition that makes this race such an iconic July 4th celebration for all Georgians. At the same time, we are grateful to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for nearly five decades of support that helped grow the Peachtree into a defining Atlanta tradition."

Northside Hospital's website, Northside.com, is already a resource for patients to make informed health care choices. As the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race approaches, soon it will become a destination for all things Peachtree, including registration and health tips from Northside Hospital physicians, many of whom run the Peachtree themselves.

Northside employees and members of the communities the hospital serves will have access to exclusive training opportunities from the Atlanta Track Club as part of this historic new partnership.

The title partnership transition follows The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's remarkable 49-year tenure as the Peachtree's title partner, a legacy that helped shape the race into the iconic event it is today. The AJC will remain an integral part of the event as its Official Media Partner, continuing its role in telling the story of Atlanta's Fourth of July tradition.

"The Peachtree Road Race reflects the best of Atlanta, including our community, perseverance and pride," said Andrew Morse, president and publisher of The Atlanta Journal‑Constitution. "As official media partner, the AJC is proud to continue shining a light on the people and stories that have made this Fourth of July tradition a defining part of our city for generations."

Like Northside.com, AJC.com and the AJC app will continue to serve as a hub of engagement for participants in the Peachtree Road Race where they can register for the race and cast their vote on the 2026 T-shirt Design Contest.

Since its founding in 1970, the Peachtree Road Race has grown from 110 finishers to more than 50,000 each year. In 2026, the event will continue to tell a new story through the lens of "Peachtree Unites," Atlanta Track Club's campaign to celebrate the people and communities connected by running. With the city preparing to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, the Peachtree is positioned to once again showcase Atlanta on a global stage.

Registration for the 2026 Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race opens March 18 for sponsor employees and Charity Entry participants. Atlanta Track Club member and lottery registration opens April 1. Sponsor employees, Charity Entries and Club members receive guaranteed entry, while all other participants must enter the lottery.

The 57th Running of the Peachtree takes place on Saturday, July 4, starting at Lenox Square and finishing in Piedmont Park. Northside Hospital will also be featured on the 2026 finisher's shirt, worn by more than 50,000 participants as part of Atlanta's most celebrated Fourth of July tradition.

The Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior will be held on Friday, July 3, while the Northside Hospital Polar Opposite Peachtree Road Race returns on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027, continuing the partnership across Atlanta Track Club's growing Peachtree portfolio.
