Free parking for volunteers is available in the Red Deck (closest to Macy's but NOT the surface lot). ​No parking pass needed.

Expo Set-Up Days 

Free parking for volunteers is available in the Red Deck (closest to Macy's but NOT the surface lot). ​

Meeting location: You will meet Rachel Schrensky in the Macy's parking lot. They will have all of your volunteer goodies and assigned tasks for the day.

Expo Volunteer Check-In

  • The check-in plaza will be in the bottom left of the Macy's Parking Lot in Lenox Square. There will be a clearly marked " Volunteer Check-In" sign.
  • Volunteer check-in will open at 7:30 AM on July 2nd and 6:00 AM on July 3rd.

Each volunteer will receive:

  • Commemorative Adidas T-shirt
  • Commemorative lapel pin
  • Discounts on the Atlanta Track Club merchandise website
  • Snacks & Fluids

All bags in the finish area will be subject to search and emptied into a clear plastic bag which we will provide. We ask that you leave bags and other extra items at home to ensure safety and security and expedite movement throughout the day.

Please meet Enrique Tomas & Eric Nelson at the visible white tent located in the back left parking lot in front of Macy's on the Peachtree St entrance side to receive your volunteer items and instructions for the day. (TBA?)

Please come ready for fun in the sun by dressing appropriately for the weather. Sunscreen will be provided.

Cheer parties, volunteers, and spectators can enter the "Best Course Sign Competition " by creating the most festive and/or fun encouraging signs for participants and submitting a photo to an online submission page - To be released. We will repost the photos of your signs on our social media after race day, and the public will vote on their favorite!

Finish Area Parking - Race Day 

Parking Address: ​ Dalney W22 Parking Deck -955 Greenfield St NW, Atlanta, GA 30332

Parking Instructions: Volunteers will be bussed to Park Tavern starting at 3:30 am - 6:00 am, and drop-off will be available from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm.

From Midtown Station, take a left on Peachtree Place NE, Right on Juniper, left on 8th St NE (20-min straight walk), take a left at Monroe. Park Tavern is located on the corner of 10th and Monroe.

Drop-off Location: Volunteers can be dropped off at the corner of 10th & Monroe at Park Tavern, and all volunteers must enter from the street level of Park Tavern to check in at the Piedmont Room on the second floor.

Bag Policy 

No backpacks, coolers or bags of any kind are allowed at the start, on course or in the finish area. Anyone at the start with a bag will be asked to surrender it and its contents. All bags in the finish area will be subject to search and emptied into a clear plastic bag which we will provide. We ask that you leave bags and other extra items at home to ensure safety and security and expedite movement throughout the day.

•Glass containers
•Wheeled conveyances
•Pets
•Backpacks
•Rolling bags and other luggage
•Costumes that are not form fitting
•Weight vests
•Military equipment
•Firefighter equipment
•Drones

Remember: See something, say something. Be vigilant. If you see something suspicious, contact the nearest police officer or call 911.
