Stop Domestic Violence Abuse 5K

Get ready to stride with purpose during Domestic Violence Awareness Month! STOP Domestic Violence Abuse 5K is a family-friendly community run/walk for men, women, and children to come together to raise awareness in the fight against domestic violence. Runners, joggers, and walkers enjoy a healthy, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause. All proceeds benefit two non-profits: Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) and Alma Domestic Violence Foundation (ADVF). PADV's mission is to end the crime of domestic violence and empower its survivors, and it provides professional and empowering support to abused women, men, and children in the City of Atlanta and Fulton and Gwinnett counties. Alma DVF's mission is to educate, empower, and celebrate survivors of domestic violence and help them achieve economic and self-sufficiency, and it provides a myriad of services to victims of domestic violence across the state of Georgia and nationally. STOP Domestic Violence Abuse 5K is sponsored by the Fulton County District Attorney's Office in partnership with the Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts and the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Violence Reduction to raise domestic violence awareness and support survivors of domestic violence abuse.
