2022 BRAVES COUNTRY 5K & DASH

Start your morning at Truist Park on Saturday, June 11 with the Braves Country 5K & Dash. You'll run through the streets surrounding Truist Park, before heading back to the ballpark to cross the finish line on the field!

This is a family friendly event that offers kids an opportunity to participate in the Dash (ages 7 & under). Dash participants will receive a short-sleeved shirt. All skill levels are welcome and we can't wait to see you at the ballpark!

5K registration (ages 8 & over) includes an Atlanta Braves game ticket and a short-sleeve shirt. Participants will also have the option to purchase additional game tickets at a discounted rate for family and friends to join them at the Braves game. A limited number of tickets are available for these select games, so register early to secure your preferred date. Game dates to choose from coming soon!

Atlanta Track Club intends to hold the Braves Country 5K at Truist Park as scheduled on June 11, 2022. If the format of the event moves to virtual ONLY or is cancelled all together, you will be given the option to receive a full refund (less processing fees from registration vendor). If, due to COVD-19, the location of the event has to be changed, refunds will not be provided, but you will be immediately notified via email and social media.

TIMING & RESULTS

Unofficial results available online the afternoon of the event. Results are made official approximately two weeks after the event, after all inquires have been processed.

Your timing device for this event is the Chronotrack single use B-tag. In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is...

  • Clearly visible on the front of the torso
  • Unaltered and unmodified (Do not fold or wrinkle)
  • Pinned in all four corners
  • Not covered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Atlanta Track Club is a member organization of both the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) & USA Track & Field (USATF) and adheres to the guidelines and rules of competition in the events Atlanta Track Club conducts & provides.

COURSE

Course Map - Braves Country 5K

Course time limit:

  • 5K: 1 hour and 15 minutes (25 minute per mile pace)

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course. Headphones are strongly discouraged.

Race number pickup will be available on race morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. For participants who would like to pick up their race numbers early, they may do so at the time and location below:

FREE Parking will be available for up to 2 hours at the Red Deck. Please bring your check-in pass with you to early number pickup. Those picking up for multiple participants should bring a check-in pass for each participant you are picking up for.

For those that choose to pick up their bib at early number pickup, t-shirts will be given out with bibs. If you are picking up your bib on race morning, your t-shirt will be picked up after the race.

Lot B9 - 900 Circle 75 (Accessible to SunTrust Park via pedestrian bridge)

Participants with last names M - Z :
Lot B11 - 1100 Circle 75 (Accessible to SunTrust Park via crosswalk)

*While parking is free race morning, participants will need to exit the lot after the race.

AWARDS

Overall awards are based on gun time and overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Age group awards are based on net time.

  • 5K Overall male, female and non-binary
  • 5K Masters male, female and non-binary
  • 5K Age Group Awards for the top three males, females and non-binary in each age group (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, five-year increments up to 90+)

Additional tickets can also be purchased at the event (based upon availability).

VIRTUAL RUNNERS

Those selecting the Virtual Braves Country 5K race option will receive their bib and shirt via UPS. Virtual registrations do include a ticket to a game. Those not wishing to attend the game may select to donate their ticket to Kilometer Kids.

Virtual participants will complete and submit their race between Friday, June 10, 2022 and Monday, June 13, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Virtual participants must submit their results online. The results submission link will not become live until Friday, June 10, 2022.

STROLLERS

In order to serve all our athletes, Atlanta Track Club offers opportunities for Athletes With Disabilities (AWD). Atlanta Track Club officials will provide reasonable accommodation to Athletes With Disabilities on an individualized and event by event basis.

SPECTATORS

Friends and family members are allowed inside Truist Park at the Chop House Gate to cheer participants on at that finish line. Spectators will be directed to specific sections by Truist Park employees. Spectators are asked to stay within this designated area. Spectators are not allowed on to the field.
