EVENT CANCELED: Following the severe weather that affected metro Atlanta this weekend, Atlanta Track Club conducted an additional on-site review with the grounds crew this morning, October 13. Current conditions have made the course no longer viable for the Grand Prix Cross Country 5K, Midweek Mile & Dash. As a result, the event has been canceled. Registered participants will receive additional information regarding next steps for the Grand Prix Series by email.
As a way to ensure that the 2026 Grand Prix series continues, the Grand Prix XC 5k is now being held in conjunction with the 2026 USATF Georgia Association Youth/Masters/Open Cross Country Championships on Saturday November 14 at 1:00 p.m. Entry fees will be covered by Atlanta Track Club and Grand Prix Series points will be awarded to those who attend.
Grand Prix XC Virtual Option:
Participants who are unable to attend Area Championships will have the opportunity to earn participation pints by submitting a virtual 5K time. Those that don't transfer will automatically be placed in the virtual event.
Please note: Age group and overall Grand Prix points can only be earned at the in-person event on November 14. Those that participate in the virtual event and submit a verified time will receive participation points that go towards the David A. Jordan Award.
Virtual participation must take place between Friday, November 13, at 12:00 p.m. and Monday, November 16, at 12:00 p.m. Instructions on submission will be sent the week of November 14.
Join us for the Grand Prix Cross Country 5K and get back to your roots running through the woods and fields. This event is free and exclusive to Atlanta Track Club members. This is the final event in the 2026 Atlanta Track Club Grand Prix Series before the Finale on December 12.

- Please note their have been some slight updates to the course changes including a road start. Spikes are not recommended.
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, no pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind, including baby joggers/strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles, are permitted on the course.
