2017 AJC Peachtree Road Race Lottery Registration Opens Wednesday, March 15

ATLANTA February 16, 2017 – Atlanta Track Club, organizer of the AJC Peachtree Road Race, announced today that registration for the 2017 event will open on Wednesday, March 15 through an online lottery at AJC.com/peachtree. July 4, 2017 will mark the 48th running of the AJC Peachtree Road Race. Those wishing to be selected as one of the 60,000 participants can register for the event lottery online anytime during the eight-day period beginning Wednesday, March 15 until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22.

Regardless of the day or time of registration, all individuals who enter the lottery during the registration period will have an equal chance of being selected for the 2017 AJC Peachtree Road Race. Entrants will be randomly selected after the lottery closes on March 22. All lottery entrants will receive an email by Saturday, March 25 informing them of whether or not they were selected for the 2017 event. Atlanta Track Club members will continue to receive an early and guaranteed entry opportunity into the AJC Peachtree Road Race provided their memberships were current as of February 1, 2017. The early registration window for Atlanta Track Club members will take place Wednesday, March 1 through Tuesday, March 14.

The 48th running of the AJC Peachtree Road Race will take place on Tuesday, July 4. Entry into the 10K event remains $35 for Atlanta Track Club members and $38 for the public, plus applicable online processing fees. There is no charge to enter the lottery.

Entrants will have the opportunity to sign up for the Triple Peach Race Series presented by Mizuno during registration. Returning for its fifth year, the Triple Peach is a package created by Atlanta Track Club that rewards participants for completing three of Atlanta’s most popular running events; the AJC Peachtree Road Race, the PNC Atlanta 10 Miler and the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon. Triple Peach participant benefits include a discounted price for the three events, a Triple Peach finisher’s shirt and a commemorative medal as well as a special celebration at the Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon.
