Publix Super Markets Named Presenting Sponsor of the 2012 In-Training for Peachtree Program

In-Training for Peachtree Presented by Publix is one of three sponsorship deals the company has with the Atlanta Track Club

 

ATLANTA – April 24, 2012 – The Atlanta Track Club today announced a partnership with Publix Super Markets, naming Publix as the presenting sponsor of its In-Training for Peachtree program.  In-Training for Peachtree Presented by Publix is the official training program of the AJC Peachtree Road Race. 

 

The 11-week, 10K training program begins April 28 and is designed for novice and intermediate runners training for the2012 AJC Peachtree RoadRace.  Along with a customized training plan, the program features Saturday group runs at various Publix locations throughout the metro area.  The program also includes informational running seminars, weekly training emails and a short-sleeve Reebok training team shirt for all participants.  The 12 Publix training locations include:

Publix has sponsored the AJC Peachtree Road Race since 2009 and recently signed on as a sponsor of the 2012 Atlanta Marathon and Marathon Relay, held Sunday, October 28, 2012.
