Registration Opens for 57th Running of the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race

Lottery Registration Open Through April 21

ATLANTA - April 1, 2026 - Lottery registration and Atlanta Track Club member registration are now open here for the 57th Running of the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race, inviting up to 60,000 participants to take part in Atlanta's Fourth of July tradition and the world's largest 10K.

This year's race takes place at a historic moment for both Atlanta and the nation, as the United States marks its 250th anniversary and as the city hosts the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the largest sporting event in the world. With record setting demand expected, participants are encouraged to register early.

"The 250th anniversary of the United States is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and there is no better place to celebrate the Fourth of July than at the Peachtree in Atlanta," said Rich Kenah, CEO of Atlanta Track Club. This year is an open invitation to people from across the country — and around the world — to come experience how this event brings people together in a way that goes far beyond the finish line."

The 2026 theme, "Peachtree Unites," reflects this year's race's role in connecting Atlantans, Georgians, the nation and the world through a shared celebration of community, sport and movement.

"As Atlanta takes the global stage in 2026, we're proud to support an event that unites people through health, community and tradition," said Jerry Tolk, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Northside Hospital. "We encourage everyone to register early and be part of the energy that makes this race unforgettable."

Building on continued momentum following the pandemic, participation has steadily climbed in recent years. The 2025 event welcomed the largest field since the 50th Running in 2019 — and Atlanta Track Club anticipates reaching its 60,000-participant capacity in 2026.

Atlanta Track Club members receive guaranteed entry at the lowest registration price of $60 and placement in start waves A-M. Due to demand, non-members must enter the general lottery for a chance to participate at a price of $80. The lottery will remain open through April 21, with selections announced shortly after it closes.

Participants looking to bypass the lottery may do so by becoming an Atlanta Track Club member as they register for the event or by choosing to enter through Atlanta Track Club's Fuel the Future Peachtree Charity Wave Entry options, which supports Atlanta Track Club Foundation and its free Kilometer Kids youth running program.

Atlanta Track Club's In-Training for Peachtree program is now open here, expanding to new locations across the metro area and building on record demand for the Club's training offerings in 2026.

Registration for the Northside Hospital Peachtree Junior is also open here, with the event returning to Lenox Square for the second consecutive year. Participation is once again free for children aged 14 and under.

With record setting demand expected, participants are encouraged to register early.
