14th Annual Cantrell Center 5K & 1 Mile

While this event was designed with the "first-timer" in mind, it attracts people across state lines to compete for our cash prizes! Our target audience is those who never dreamed they could participate in a 5K. Why? Because we want to see the Cantrell Center 5K & 1 Mile used as starting point to beginning a healthier lifestyle. Because of that, we have people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and backgrounds out here on race day and the energy that morning is palpable! Avid runners enjoy our 5K often commenting on how well organized it is-- plus we offer cash prizes and trophies for top finishers along with medals for those who place top 3 in their age group. Proceeds from this event benefit our local Children's Hospital in Macon, Georgia. Join us and help us get MIDDLE GEORGIA moving!!
