Atlanta Santa Speedo Run

The mission of the Atlanta Santa Speedo Run is to raise funds for those less fortunate through the support of local charitable service organizations while providing a fun, non-competitive athletic event that brings people together to celebrate their community. We are proud to support Bert's Big Adventure, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. Following the annual trip, Bert's Big Adventure provides year-round support through initiatives such as the Reunion Adventures, the Fairy Godparent volunteer program and additional charitable services. The trip and programs create a community of families that establish lasting friendships with others facing similar challenges. Noon - The Pre-Party​​​​Our check-in and pre-party begin at noon and include a live DJ, cash bar, a costume contest and activities for those 21 and up. Registered runners who raise the minimum of $250 will receive a swag bag from our amazing sponsors. Those Super Santas who raise $500 or more also receive an extra stocking stuffer at check-in—a $25 gift card! 2 p.m. - The Run Participants run a one-mile loop in Piedmont Park in their most festive holiday gear. 2:30 p.m. - The After-Party Winners are announced and awarded prizes—and the party continues until all of the Santas head back to their workshops. What to wear: The dress code boils down to "less is more." Speedos, swimsuits, costumes, and holiday attire are encouraged (but not required)! Feel free to wear street clothes and then strip down to the Speedo attire at runtime. We highly suggest donning some sneakers, too.
